Chicco Red Bullet Balance Training Bike Product Description
With the popularity of balance bikes gaining every day, there are more and more choices. The Chicco Red Bullet Balance Bike wins it for looks. You will get a lot of compliments on this bike, and the better it looks the easier it will be to get your child to ride it (that’s the theory).
This bike has no pedals which is a bonus for smaller children as this bike may be a bit too big for small three year olds. Another bonus is it is quite a bit lighter than other brands of balance bikes. Has a sturdy frame that ensures stability and durability. Features some adjustability with handlebar and seat. The bike’s tires are made of high-quality rubber compounds. This red bullet balance bike is designed for children three years and above and it requires adult assembly for use.
WHAT’S TO LIKE ABOUT THE Chicco Red Bullet Balance Bike
- Very lightweight, easy for all kids to carry
- CHEAP compared to other balance bikes
- Really eye-catching looking bike – attractive! Owners have said older kids who see this also want to jump on it even!
- Durable – can hold bigger kids weight no problem (per the previous point)
- Easy to put together
BUT BE AWARE OF ..
- Not as adjustable as other balance bikes – two inch adjustment span with a seat height of 13 to 15 inches
- While easy to put together, some owners have said that the wrench that comes with it is not easy to use. Be prepared to use your own wrenches and tools if you want to tighten this up really well.
- No pedals and brakes – this is by design and is fine for balance bikes since the child is learning how to steer, but it is just something to make sure you know.
This is a really nice looking bike. The Chicco Red Bullet Balance Bike is great for just about any toddler. Lightweight and comfortable to ride. The seat height does not go too high so if you’re particular about having the child sit while learning to steer, your child may outgrow this fairly quickly. Overall, a very nice looking and fun to use balance bike for toddlers
What Buyers Are Saying
“For looks: the Chicco bike wins it. This is a GREAT looking bike, much better than the plain flat paint and stainless steel of the Kazam. For size: The Chicco doesn’t have much adjustment room at all. But frankly, since pedals aren’t an issue here, it doesn’t matter if the bike is too small – what you can’t have is one that is too big. For use: All the kids at the party jumped on the bike ranging from 2-6 years old, they all had fun on it in whatever varying degree they could us it. It’s crazy lightweight so no one had problem lugging it about – a concern I actually have for the heavier Kazam. This is a fantastic little bike and I wouldn’t let the reviews about size stop you from buying it seeing how much of a height and age range I saw use this little bugger this last week.. …(READ MORE)”
“We got this bike for my almost 3 year old. His older brother (4 years) tried it and got it really quickly. Within 2 weeks or less my older son is riding his regular bike without training wheels. We took the balance bike to the park and my son’s 4 year old friend tried the bike. He practiced with this bike for about 20 minutes, then tried the regular bike without training wheels. He was able to ride the regular bike with a little help to start. This is a great bike to help your child learn to ride a bike without training wheels…. (READ MORE)”
“My 3 year old got this from his grandparents and he loves it. The seat is at the bottom setting and he is a normal sized 3 year old. We have a larger house and he rides it in the house becasue it is winter. We found that his 8 year old brother also loves the bike. The second bike is on it’s way… LOL. Out 8 year old is only 55lbs but he also fits and is able to chase his little brother around. The bike looks really well built and was xtremely easy to assemble. I suggest this bike 100%….
